Community Guidelines

Our Mission: Pat My Back was built to foster kind, supportive, and non-judgmental human connection. We ask every member and Pat Pal to uphold these standards in all conversations.

1. Mutual Respect & Empathy

Treat everyone with dignity, patience, and kindness. Harassment, hate speech, bullying, insults, or threats will result in immediate and permanent account suspension.

2. Privacy & Personal Boundaries

Respect each other's privacy. Do not ask for, share, or publish another user's real-life identity, physical address, financial details, or personal contact info outside the platform.

3. Appropriate Content & Behavior

Sexually explicit behavior, solicitations, unlawful activities, and attempts to scam or exploit other participants are strictly prohibited.

4. Non-Medical Peer Disclaimer

Pat Pals provide compassionate peer conversation and companionship. They are not licensed healthcare, psychiatric, or clinical emergency practitioners. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact 988 or local emergency services immediately.

5. Reporting & Enforcement

If a participant violates these standards, use the built-in "Report" button on their profile or in your active call/chat. Our moderation team reviews every report promptly to protect the community.
